ATLA Religion Database with ATLA Serials (EBSCO) - Combines the premier index to journal articles, book reviews, and collections of essays in all fields of religion with ATLA's online collection of major religion and theology journals.
Biblical Archaeology Society – (Password needed for access) The BAS Online Archive is an educational Web site containing the editorial content of each issue of the bi-monthly magazine Biblical Archaeology Review.
The Biblical Repertory Medii Aevi (Open Access) -The Repertorium Biblicum Medii Aevi is an exhaustive searchable database of apocryphal texts, Biblical prologues, and patristic and medieval commentaries on the Bible produced before 1501 A.D. The search engine allows the user access to the complete contents of the work, including conventional full-text search queries. The Library has the first seven volumes in print as well, at Z7770 .S81.
Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) – The Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) is the world's most comprehensive bibliography of scholarly writing about the history of western art. BHA includes articles from over 1,200 journals. The link above leads to a list of names and ISSNs of each of those journals.
British Library Greek Manuscripts Online - (Open Access) The Greek Manuscripts Digitisation Project was a pilot project devoted to the full digitization of 284 Greek manuscripts. The digitized manuscripts, together with summary catalogue descriptions, are now available at the Digitised Manuscripts section of the British Library's website. This is the first project in BL’s program to digitize all of its pre-1600 manuscripts.
Business Source Elite (EBSCO) - provides full text for over 1,000 business publications. The rich collection of titles in Business Source Elite provides information dating back to 1985. More than 10,100 substantial company profiles from Datamonitor are also included.
Catholic Periodical and Liturature Index (EBSCO) - The database covers all aspects of the Catholic faith and lifestyle, and includes over 436,000 index citations of articles and reviews published in Roman Catholic periodicals, Papal documents, church promulgations, and books about the Catholic faith that are authored by Catholics and/or produced by Catholic publishers.

CDRI: Digital Resources for the Study of Religion - (Open Access) The Cooperative Digital Resources Initiative (CDRI) of ATLA and the Association of Theological Schools is a repository of digital resources contributed by member libraries. The CDRI database provides access to digital images of woodcuts, photographs, slides, papyri, coins, maps, postcards, manuscripts, lithographs, sermons, shape-note tune books, and various forms of Christian art, architecture, and iconography. It is designed to support patients' information needs and foster an overall understanding of health-related topics. Consumer Health Complete provides content covering all areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated medicine. In addition, Consumer Health Complete includes the Clinical Reference System and the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which provides access to up-to-date, concise and clinically relevant drug monographs.
Digital Karl Barth Library - This resource is a searchable database containing the works of Karl Barth, including theological writings, letters, sermons, interviews, and archival content.

ECO (FirstSearch) - An OCLC collection of scholarly journals
Encyclopedia Britannica - Comprehensive resource for general information across all subject areas. Also provides access to Merriam-Webster Dictionary online.
ERIC (EBSCO) - Education Resource Information Center, contains more than 1.3 million records and links to more than 323,000 full-text documents dating back to 1966.

Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition (EBSCO) - Provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition also features the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.
IllinoisCatalog (FirstSearch) - OCLC catalog of materials in Illinois libraries
Index Theologicus - (Open Access) (IxTheo) indexes articles in theological journals and essays in selected books from 1984 to date. IxTheo covers both English and European language literature, especially German. Journals are indexed within 24 hours of the time they are received at the Tübingen University library, so this is by far the most current theological database. IxTheo has both an English and a German interface; the English interface has English-language subject headings.

JSTOR - (Limited Open Access) Free access to early journal content available to the public for reading and downloading. Includes nearly 500,000 articles in more than 200 journals on JSTOR published prior to 1923 in the United States and prior to 1870 elsewhere. Webinar on searching free content. L’Osservatore Romano – (Access only available on campus) The English edition volumes, that were published between 1973-75 and 1980-2010, are available in PDF form.
MasterFILE Premier (EBSCO) - This multidisciplinary database provides full text for nearly 1,700 periodicals with full-text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Premier also contains full text for nearly 500 reference books and over 164,400 primary source documents, as well as an Image Collection of over 592,000 photos, maps & flags.

Military & Government Collection (EBSCO) - Designed to offer current news pertaining to all branches of the military and government, this database offers a thorough collection of periodicals, academic journals, and other content pertinent to the increasing needs of those sites.
New Catholic Encyclopedia – (Password needed for access) Provides access to the New Catholic Encyclopedia, 15v. , 2nd ed. 2003,New Catholic Encyclopedia Jubilee Volume, 2nd ed. 2000, and the New Catholic Encyclopedia Supplement 2009. Among the 12,000 entries in the encyclopedia are articles on theology, philosophy, history, literary figures, saints, musicians and much more. And the supplement focuses on the pontificate of John Paul II and includes thematic essays that present the man and his work.
New Testament Abstracts (EBSCO) - An indispensable research and bibliographic aid for scholars, librarians, clergy and students of the New Testament and its historical milieu.
Newspaper Source (EBSCO) - Provides cover-to-cover full text for more than 40 U.S. & international newspapers. The database also contains selective full text for 389 regional (U.S.) newspapers. In addition, full text television & radio news transcripts are also provided.
News.Va: The Vatican today - (Open Access) Vatican web portal that streamlines all Vatican news from print, tv, and online news. Includes news from the Vatican newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano; Vatican radio; the Vatican tv station CTV; the Vatican information service (VIS); the Fides missionary news agency; the Vatican press office; and the main Vatican website.

Old Testament Abstracts (EBSCO) - Features indexing and abstracts for journal articles, monographs, multi-author works, and software related to Old Testament studies.
Oxford Handbooks Online - (Open Access) Free individual access to Oxford Handbooks Online (in the areas of Business & Management, Political Science, Philosophy, and Religion, as well as Credo Reference, among other things) is available for anyone who opens a free World Council of Churches account here: http://www.globethics.net/. Create an account, go to Ethics Library (at top left), and drop down to Reference Books for full text. Under Collections (list) is the beginnings of what promises to be a free online library in ethics and eventually theology . And under Journals (list of titles) there is the beginning of a collection of titles free online (though there are already many of those).

Salem Literature (restricted to USML commity) -- Online literary database that includes the complete content of printed literary reference works from the Critical Insights series. Coverage includes complete reference works about Albert Camus, Willa Cather, Flannery O'Connor, and The Inferno.
